We are playing the venerable C’est What? next THURS, SEPT 26 @ 9pm
with our great friend Sally McKay.
Rob Greenway has a long history with C’est What?, having played there with many bands and solo projects since the early 90s.

On this outing, Mr. Blvd will be flanked by Rob Best on keys & vox, Jonathan Seet on guitar & vox and guest vox by sweet T.

A great evening of fine songs…

Joining me is my good friend and wonder musician Rob Best on piano & vocals.
Starting off the night is my special guest and longtime collaborator Derek Christie and his acoustic band: Jon James and Laurelle Augustyn.
I love the intimacy of the Southern Cross Room at The Tranzac.
This will be a lovely evening of song and there will most certainly be some cross-pollination between the artists.

We hope you can be a part of it.

Mr. Blvd is doing some shows in Toronto, August-September-October. So far, here is the skinny:

WED, SEPT. 18 w/ Derek Christie @ Tranzac Club (front room) 10pm

THURS, SEPT. 26 w/ Sally McKay @ C’est What 9:30pm

THURS, OCT 24 w/ Sally McKay @ The Only Cafe 9pm

These shows will be the stripped down trio of Rob G, Rob Best & Jonathan Seet and will feature cross-pollination between the acts.
This is the beginning of a new collective of like-minded songwriters/artists who are tired of the usual way of doing shows. We want to make our own fun and also explore alternative venues and spaces for performances.

We had the best album launch ever last night @ McGugan’s. The tiny upstairs room was JAMMED with wonderful people, some of whom I had not seen in ages. Many came from out of town for the launch and it turned from a “listening party with a few live songs” into a full-fledged evening of live music and encores. wow. I really can’t thank everyone enough for an amazing evening,  and a pure, genuine and beautiful response to my little songs. And to think I was doubting the entire endeavor only days before. Huge thanks to my musical friends and colleagues Rob Best and Jonathan Seet for making it so easy to do what i needed to, my courageous and long-suffering wife Tracey Coveart (sweet T) for her shining voice and to Rique Franks, Derek Christie and Laurelle Augustyn for jumping up for some lovely impromptu backup vocals!
None of it would have been possible without my amazing family and their belief in me and the work.

What a great night and a wonderful validation of all my work on this album. Now…. go buy it, please
